Photography is the window into the world from my artistic vantage point – the sights, vibrance and spirit of urban life, the familiar farmscape of southern Ontario, the vast and powerful Great Lakes, and captivating landscapes and seascapes in Canada and beyond. Through macro and close-up photography, I explore details and perspectives of flora specimens that the typical viewers often gloss over. And in astrophotography, I capture awe-inspiring astronomical objects and phenomena that reveal themselves, some of them invisible to the unaided eyes, in the tranquility of the night, and turn them into art.
